Order of Operations (song)

This Silly Math Song, to the tune of "Stayin' Alive", teaches the Order of Operations.

Song teaches the correct order of operations ((1)Parentheses (2)Exponents (3)Multiply or Divide (4)Add or Subtract). It teaches the importance of following the left-to-right rule when multiplying and dividing, as well as when adding and subtracting. (This, incidentally, is why many people get into trouble by incorrectly assuming that PEMDAS - sometimes known as "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" - always gives the correct order of operations.) The song is sung to the tune of "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees. The correct order of operations is important for everyone to know - whether they're in elementary math, middle school / junior high math, high school math, or college math.
